The PlayStation Store keeps games for £ 10,000

Multiple users report that the PlayStation Store is offering certain games for a price of £ 10,000 (or even 10,000 of the local currency outside the UK). Currently, the price spill appears to be affecting GreedFall, which is part of this month’s PS Plus queuing. The problem was first reported to IGN by Twitter user Andreas K .:

On Twitter, The Emerald Archer and Christopher Khan have also reported a £ 10,000 version of GreedFall, while the issue is too spotted in European regions, where prices have been exchanged for euros.

It’s not clear at the time of writing what the cause of the malfunction is nor how widespread it is, but posted screenshots seem to indicate it’s a problem in the PS4 version of the store in particular – we’ve got problem cannot replicate on PS5 or browsers.

The price disturbance seems to have appeared since the end of last year. On December 27, Raymond Chan on the IGN UK Podcast saw Facebook group Dead Cells with a £ 10,000 prize, while Garyz on Twitter saw Friday the 13th for the same price last week. We’ve reached out to Sony for comment.

In other PS4 news, Sony Japan reportedly announced today that it will discontinue all PS4 Pro models, and all but one PS4 Slim models, to produce more PS5s. However, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has made it clear that it will continue to support PS4 with games through at least 2022.
