The name of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s daughter REVEALED; Is it a nod to the model’s grandmother?

After four months of secrecy, Gigi Hadid has finally revealed her daughter’s name. The supermodel, who shares the daughter with international singer Zayn Malik, took to her Instagram bio and considered herself Khai’s mother. The addition to the bio was quickly noticed and fans cheered for Gigi and eventually decided to reveal the name. Excited to hear baby ZiGi’s name, Just Jared noted that it could have a bond with the gorgeous model’s grandmother.

The international publication pointed out that Gigi’s grandmother i.e. Mohamed Hadid’s mother’s name is Khairiah. It’s possible Gigi has named her daughter Khai as a subtle nod to her grandmother. Gigi’s change in the bio comes a day after she celebrated her daughter’s fourth month. In September, Zayn and Gigi took to their Instagram and shared a photo of Zayn and the baby girl to announce the arrival of their daughter. “Our girl joined us on the Earth side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” Gigi wrote as she caught the first glimpse of the little one. “Our little girl is here, healthy and beautiful

trying to express how I feel right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this little person is beyond my comprehension. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and grateful for the life we’ll have together x, ”Zayn said at the time.

While everyone raved about the name, Gigi took to her Instagram stories and shared that the former One Direction member had become chef for the night. The singer presented a plate of mouthwatering ribs, a photo that Gigi shared, which was served with a plate of cheesy potato stacks. Check out the photos below:
