The Mexican national team is launching a new shirt for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

With two years to go before the FIFA world cup in Qatar, Adidas, the German brand sponsoring the Mexican national team, launched the jersey that will be used Mexico in the qualifying rounds of the CONCACAF looking for one of the tickets for the World Cup tournament that will be played in the winter of 2022.

The jersey confirmed the claims discovered for months as the garment has a black base with pink accents and adds a pattern across the front with ‘textile’ motifs that resemble Huichol art.

The shirt has the classic adidas brand three stripes on the shoulders, this time in pink, and a thin line of the same color on the cuffs.

The Mexican national team shield is presented in two colors, black and white, with only green and red added to the ‘flag’ portion.

The presentation of the garment divided opinions, but the vast majority of them rejected this new design from Adidas, expecting something more innovative, but not so much breaking with the tradition of the selective tricolor.
