To tie in with the moment of Gorman’s creation, the event will likely celebrate America with a special spotlight on American fashion designers, a source said.
While the event is identified with the usual date, the first Monday in May, the event will be postponed to September in the hope that it will be safer for people to get together at that time.
However, the first Monday of September was not available as many Americans will be celebrating Labor Day.
“Not even Anna Wintour can change a federal holiday,” added another source.
