The line-up starts hours early for the opening of Buc-ee’s first travel center in Florida

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – It is known for praising the world’s largest convenience store. Chaing National Travel Center, Buc-ee’s, is opening its very first Florida location today.

The new location on World Commerce Parkway in St. Augustine is 52,600 square feet and offers 104 gas stations.

The necklace carries a cult following. Before 5.15 am on Monday morning, dozens of people lined up outside the store.

Stores are usually split into the gift side, which includes items such as clothing, home decor, sporting goods, and more – and the food service and convenience store.

Doors open at 6am

Many people living in the area were concerned about the gas station’s impact on property values. More than 2,000 people signed a petition opposing the 2019 development, citing traffic problems and a poorer quality of life.
