Chilling camera footage shows flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera kissing a man in the hallway of a luxury hotel in the Philippines – before she was found dead in the empty bathtub in her room.
The 23-year-old was captured at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City while partying on New Year’s Eve, GMA News said.
She was shown barefoot holding a wine glass with at least three men as they walked between rooms – and also kissed a man in shorts and a rear-facing baseball cap.
Hours later, the Filipino flight attendant was found unconscious in her room – and soon pronounced dead in a local hospital after being taken there by friends and hotel staff.
Makati City police claimed there were signs of rape and on Monday filed a preliminary rape and murder charge against all 11 men who partied with her.
But on Wednesday, prosecutors released the only three arrested so far, insisting that investigators had failed to prove she was “sexually assaulted or raped” – and if so, by which of the 11 men accused.
The cause of her death had also not been proven, prosecutors said, with an initial autopsy saying she died of a “ ruptured aortic aneurysm. ”
However, police and a lawyer from Dacera’s family have suggested that the aneurysm was the result of her attack.
One of the suspects, Gregorio de Guzma – the son of the well-known Filipino singer Claire dela Fuente – made reports of gang rape and insisted that most of the men were gay.
