The head of the government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, reported that the Ministry of Works will be responsible for restoring and connecting drainage and drinking water; Insabi will be responsible for the equipment for monitors and fans; the main government will be responsible together with Insabi for hiring medical personnel; and Grupo Modelo will be in charge of hospital facilities such as oxygen and medical gas connections.
“Right now it is this private investment, which without the investment from Grupo Modelo we would not have the capabilities nor the sufficient resources to start it, they are going to invest in everything that the installation of a hospital requires, the building It’s empty, they don’t have hospital facilities, Grupo Modelo does them, ”he said.
CassIano de Stefano, president of Grupo Modelo, noted that thousands of bottles of alcohol gel have been donated, as well as 500,000 face masks to the Secretariat for Citizen Security, in addition to 100,000 bottles of drinking water to the local Secretariat of Health; they also participated in the capacity expansion of the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases and now they are joining forces with the capital government to ensure the health of the capital.
“We are confident that with the project we are announcing today, we will help improve our city’s hospital capacity when it is needed most,” he said.

150 thousand people will benefit from this
The head of the local Ministry of Health, Oliva López Arellano, noted that the 100 hospital beds will have everything needed, with the imaging equipment, medicinal gases, and the ability to provide care and directly benefit 150 thousand people from this area where it is difficult to access health services, especially hospital services and emergency care.
For his part, the head of the Ministry of Works, Jesus Esteva Medina, He noted that the electrical installation is carried out by CFE, the drainage installation and the water leaks are repaired.
“What calls here the hydrosanitary, electrical, medicinal gases and air conditioning plants, we have a maximum of February 28, but we think it can be shortened to less time and we will do everything we can to reduce it,” he said.
The Mayor of Gustavo A. Madero, Francisco Chíguil, He recalled that his administration and the previous one have allocated about 218 million pesos, but the mayor’s office does not have the resources to put this hospital into operation.
“We have completed the clean-up of 10 thousand 600 square meters of construction of this property, we are continuing the work to restore the drainage and water connection that the Mexico City water system is doing, and we will also Investing to install four elevators, we estimate an investment of 15 million pesos and will contribute to the commissioning of this space in the coming weeks, ”he said.
