The plans were originally announced in 2016
Many people have probably forgotten it by now, but studio Forever Entertainment announced both in December 2018 Panzer Dragoon and the sequel, Two, would get full remakes. The latter was lost in the shuffle, as we haven’t seen or heard from the project since.
Thankfully, the outfit changed that over the past week due to a Twitter announcement. As clear as the day Tank Dragoon Two remake is scheduled for release “this year” in 2021. It’s still sketchy, but at least we know it’s under construction and coming.
Although the original Panzer Dragoon remake started rough, the team struggled to fix it until it was in better condition. In retrospect, that makes sense Two will be in better shape.
It would be good for them to put their best foot forward here too to prevent their reputation from being tarnished.
