While the news source has not explained the date of arrival of the vaccine load in the country, it has confirmed that it will arrive at Las Américas International Airport in the coming days, this week.

The batch of doses of the Sinovac vaccine had already been transferred to the cargo hold at Beijing Capital International Airport, of the People’s Republic of China, according to the source, to be transferred on a special flight to the Dominican Republic in the coming days. .

With the arrival of this important batch of vaccines against COVID-19, the government is strengthening the National Immunization Plan.

It is recalled that on February 21, the government received the latest batch of 768,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine from China to expand its national vaccination plan against Covid.19, dubbed “Vaccinate RD”.

The cargo arrived in Dominican territory through Las Américas International Airport, Dr. José Francisco Pena Gómez, via the airline Air France with flight 734 from France.

On Monday, the vice president of the republic and director of the health cabinet, Raquel Peña, announced that “in the coming days” the country will receive one million vaccines and showed the area where they are packaged in China.
