According to Collado, the country ends the month of March with figures similar to those recorded at the arrival of tourists in December 2020, above 120,000 non-residents.
“We know that many Dominicans will go to the hotels and they are moving to the tourist poles. There are already many tourists entering the country and taking measures to prevent this situation so that all military organizations can take a step forward, ” said Collado, referring to the provisions that will be enforced and that if they are not respected by the hotels and restaurants will impose fines, such as financial fines.
Measures
The Resolution DJ-007/2021 should be welcomed by hotels, restaurants in tourist areas and operators of tourist activities and stipulates that the capacity for maximum occupancy is 80%, which is reviewed every 30 days. Likewise, the capacity corresponding to the mode of transport used by tourism establishments to transport their employees will not exceed 75%.
According to the Minister of Tourism, the restaurants are located inside tourist property complexes (Cap Cana, Casa de Campo and Punta Cana) must respect and comply with the schedules and the ban on the sale of alcoholic drinks for consumption in public and private places and establishments for public use, as well as their consumption in such places.
The resolution indicates that in the case of Las Terrenas and Cabaretetaking into account the nature of your tourism, The restaurants may be open until 9 p.m.although these destinations will also prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption in public or private places.
Vehicles in the sea
