President Luis Abinader announced that they will report at a press conference next Monday at 10:00 am on the implementation of a number of programs of the National Citizen Security Plan, “which is 90% designed.”
The president said this plan has not been implemented because many members of the National Police are in the process of enforcing curfews and special programs to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.
“Anyway, Monday we are going to start announcing some plans as they are part of this civilian security project,” the president explained at the end of a meeting with San Cristóbal neighborhood councils, whose members explained the main issues. that has this province in the south of the country.
He indicates that these meetings, which take place every Thursday with the various neighborhood councils, involve both the director of the National Police on violence cases and other officials from the social sector.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the director of the National Police, Edward Sánchez González, said that this plan, which had been prepared by the Ministry of the Interior and Police, was already in the hands of the executive.
