Germany is deeply concerned about the health of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, Chancellor Angela Merkel said.
“The German government, along with others, is urging him to receive adequate medical treatment,” she told the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Tuesday.
Merkel also said an accumulation of Russian forces on the border with Ukraine created an “alarmingly tense” situation, saying it was important to continue the dialogue on this issue.
