The following 3 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC characters may have leaked

Super From Smash Bros. Ultimate The following three DLC characters may have been revealed from the most unlikely source. Last week, Nintendo surprised Switch and Switch Lite players by revealing that Last Fantasy villain Sephiroth came to the Fighters Pass Volume 2 DLC. Fast forward to last night, and the character is now in the Switch and Switch Lite game, leaving three DLC fighters left. At the time of publication, Nintendo has not yet given a glimpse of who these three characters could be, and rumors are also quite sparse.

That said, earlier this year, in a message board post asking for Fighters Pass Volume 2 predictions, an anonymous user wrote the following six characters: Min-Min, Steve, Sephiroth, Doomguy, Ryu Hayabusa and Rayman. As you can see, the anonymous user has predicted every Fighters Pass Volume 2 DLC character so far. This could be a very lucky guess, of course, but there’s also a chance that this anonymous user wasn’t just guessing when they shared this list, or at least that’s the speculation going around within the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community.

Again it’s not impossible, this is just a lucky guess, it’s just extremely unlikely for obvious reasons, but also because no one guessed Sephiroth because Cloud is already in the game, and because Final Fantasy is not a Nintendo series, it was believed Final Fantasy would never get a second character, at least not soon. Meanwhile, Min Min is another character that no one saw coming.

For now, it’s impossible to know whether this is just the happiest bet in the world or an actual piece of insider information. We’ll likely get an answer when the next DLC character is revealed, but at the moment it’s unclear when this will happen. That said, if this isn’t just a guess, it means Doomguy, Rayman, or Ryu Hayabusa are next.

At the time of publication, Nintendo has not commented on this bit of speculation circulating, and it is unlikely to happen. If so, we will be sure to update the story with whatever is provided.
