Yesterday, Square Enix announced that it plans to release an improved version of the Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS5, and a free next-generation upgrade is available if you own the game digitally or physically. You can now buy a physical copy of the game for $ 30 from Amazon. Keep in mind that if you want to take advantage of this deal, you must have a PS5 with a disc drive to claim your free PS5 copy.
While the game will release on PlayStation Plus for free starting March 2, Sony has confirmed the PS Plus version are not eligible to receive a free upgrade. So you either have to buy the next-gen version, which starts at $ 70, or buy the PS4 version, which I think is the latter the better deal.
Speaking of next-gen, if you’re looking for a new TV that takes advantage of next-gen, LG’s CX OLED line is one of the best options right now. Right now, the 65-inch model is on sale in a number of places, most notably in Newegg, where you can purchase it for $ 1,997 and also receive a free $ 200 Newegg gift card. The TV is also available for purchase from Amazon for $ 1,950 (if you apply a coupon), but no $ 200 gift card is included.
Last November, AMD released its new line of desktop CPUs. The Ryzen 5000 line contains the company’s first chips with the next generation Zen 3 architecture. Like most of the highly anticipated gadgets released in late 2020, these processors were a bit difficult to find at first. But if you’re looking for the $ 449 mid-range Ryzen 7 5800X, it’s available now from Antonline, B&H Photo, and Best Buy.
Finally, Amazon is currently running a promotion where you can save $ 40 when you purchase two eligible Surface accessories. Some of the items eligible for the promotion include the Surface Pen and the Surface Arc Mouse, a nice combination if you buy a new Surface device at the same time.
