SUMMARY FORECASTS
Today you will see more clouds in the sky all afternoon. We will eventually get cloudy tonight.
Tomorrow we will start cloudy when a weak cold front crosses us. Before we feel the effects of that cold front, we’ll hit a high in the mid-1940s.
Mondays will be windy, so it will feel quite chilly.
In the afternoon the sun breaks through the clouds.
It will be much colder on Tuesday. The highs are in the low 30s, and the wind will feel it in the 20s.
In any case, the sky is nice and sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It’s just cold on Wednesday. Altitudes are more typically in the upper 30s (38 is the average high for the end of December) and there is no wind chill.
Then, here we go again …
Thursday is New Year’s Eve and we start the day dry. A soaker arrives in the afternoon.
There is a lot of rain on Thursday evening and Thursday evening. After a rainy Friday morning we start to dry out on Friday afternoon.
We will see 1-2 “rain, and it will be windy again.
And just like last week it is mild again on Thursday. The rain again brings mild air from the south. Expect peaks near 60. Then temperatures drop rapidly on Friday after the rain has stopped. We are in the 1930s towards the end of the afternoon on January 1.
Looking ahead, this weekend will be sunny and dry with peaks close to 40.
