The Dominican Daniel Morel has become one of the most sought after and remarkable models in the world, without forgetting that he comes from a modest house in Samaná.
His real name is Luis Arturo Morel Acosta and he says he worked for a long time with his mother on a small farm preparing cabbage.
He started in the modeling business at the age of 16, after a friend told him he had the body and talent to perform on catwalks.
Daniel took part in a reality show held in his native Samaná, and according to his story, an American photographer put him in touch with modeling agent Sandro Guzmán, who asked for a photo of the young man taken in natural light when he he saw was impressed.
From that moment on his life changed and he managed to participate in various fashion shows around the world representing brands such as: Prada, Guicci, Dior and Valentino.
