The Division 2 does get some new content

While initially it seemed like a tactical military shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Heading for its apolitical sunset, Ubisoft has now decided to give the mercenary matchmaker one last hurray, with a slew of new content, arriving later in 2021.

The fourth season of DLC for The Division 2 – literally titled “End of Watch” – revolved around the pursuit of the treacherous agent Faye Lau and her squad of lieutenants. Faye Lau’s faction, Black Tusk, occupied key areas in Washington DC, including the Pentagon itself. With Black Tusk’s removal, things looked a bit safer in the capital, which worked as an epilogue – or at least a ceasefire – for The Division 2 storyline.

Regardless, Ubisoft went on The Division 2The official Reddit to announce new content will arrive later in 2021. Massive Entertainment, Which Developed The division and The Division 2 have already started pre-production of Ubisoft’s recently revealed Star Wars title, as well as a game based on James Cameron’s sci-fi franchise AvatarThe publisher has previously noted that Massive – as one of Ubisoft’s largest studios – has the staff to develop multiple projects at once.

No date has been announced for the new one Division 2 content outside of “later this year”. So for now, you and your running buddies will have to settle for the recently released one Resident Evil crossover content. But don’t hang up your night vision goggles just yet, as the battle for ‘Murica looks like it’s far from over.
