The church in Charlotte hosts a mass rally months after the fatal coronavirus outbreak :: WRAL.com

– As state health officials warn of major rallies to ring in 2021, a Charlotte church is organizing a rally expected to attract hundreds of attendees, according to NBC affiliate WCNC.

The United House of Prayer is organizing an event in honor of the Church’s Head Bishop. Bishop CM Bailey, the leader of the House of Prayer franchise, which consists of nearly 150 churches, visits the Charlotte site on Saturdays and Sundays.

House of Prayer churches from around the area are expected to bring in members by bus, WCNC reports.

In October, the Charlotte Church hosted a week-long convening event that drew thousands of Church members from across the country. The Mecklenburg County Health Department said at least 208 coronavirus infections and nine deaths were traced to the event.
