The British ‘Indiana Jones’ claims that the Holy Grail is in England

An amateur archaeologist named the British Indiana Jones claims the world’s largest relic is hidden in a secret crypt in Hounslow, west London.

Barrie-Jon Bower, 40, believes the Knights Templar captured the Holy Grail during the Crusades and returned it to a crypt separated by a weir at the artificial Duke of Northumberland’s River, according to the sun.

Bower has studied the Knights Templar in recent years and is so confident that he has obtained permission from the Environment Agency, which will divert the river so they can bring in special equipment to investigate the riverbed.

The archaeological enthusiast invested thousands of dollars in his own ground-penetrating radar equipment early next year to prove his theory.

“If I find it, it will be one of the greatest finds in history – the greatest discovery of mankind,” he told the sun. ‘Now that I’ve been in the water, I have more certainty about it. It feels hollow. It feels good. There’s something underneath. Why not Hounslow? ”

Legend has it that the Grail – the cup from which Jesus drank at the Last Supper – has immense power and has been sought after by many over the centuries, including treasure hunters, archaeologists and the Nazis.
