4AD reached its 40th anniversary as a label last year and as a late celebration it announced the new cover line-up Bills & Aches & BluesThe collection will be released digitally on April 2 with vinyl LPs and CDs following July 23 and a deluxe vinyl box set later this year. The first five tracks of the compilation are out now – listen to Tkay Maidza for Pixies, the Breeders for His Name Is Alive, US Girls for The Birthday Party, Aldous Harding for Deerhunter and Maria Somerville for Air Miami below.
