Confirmed. The Book of Boba Fett will be one of the new Disney Plus series for 2021, premiering before Season 3 of The Mandalorian. At the end of “Season 2” of “Mando”, and after the last titles, you can see an example of “The Book of Boba Fett” and the phrase “December 2021”.
It was not clear whether it would be a “subtitle” of the third season of “The Mandalorian” or a separate series. Jon Favreau, the general producer, confirmed that they are two different series, although related and temporarily linked.
The producer appeared on “Good Morning America” to confirm the new series set in the world of The Mandalorian, with Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez to produce the series.
Season 3 of The Mandalorian will be produced right after “The Book of Boba Fett.”
In addition, Disney Plus independently confirmed the arrival of “The Book of Boba Fett” through its Twitter account.
