The beta version of Knockout City on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo is April 2

Knock out city, the futuristic dodgeball game coming out of Velan Studios and Electronic Arts in May, will have its first console beta April 2-4, allowing players on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X to battle it out between themselves and players from Windows PC via Origin and Steam.

It will be the first test of Knock out city‘s promise for all platforms. A beta version for PC was held last weekend. Players can sign up for the April play session on the game’s official site.

The April beta introduces a new map (Back Alley Brawl) plus a new weapon type, the Sniper Ball, and the 1-on-1 Face-Off playlist. For those unfamiliar with how Knock out city works, Velan delivered a trailer full of pro tips on all the ways to fake, block, punk and knock out your opponents when the beta goes live.

Knock out city launches on May 21, 2021 on all platforms in this beta. Everyone gets a free trial of the full title and can continue playing for $ 19.99, keeping the progress of the trial phase.
