The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla quests that most players don’t know exist are finally resolved

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Avenge Player Quests

Did you know that in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla there is a specific type of dynamic quest that the vast majority of players will probably never see? Called ‘Avenge’ quests, they are triggered when Eivor encounters the corpse of a fellow open-world Viking.

These bodies represent other Valhalla players killed in their own game by a nearby enemy. After inspecting the corpse, you have to chase the enemy, and once they are dead you will get some small rewards like xp and silver. Those of you who played Assassin’s Creed Origins may remember that title featured the same online missions.

But again, the problem here is that these missions of revenge are extreme rare in Valhalla, to the point where players wonder if they’ve just been completely bugged since launch. And it turns out they are. The development team has again updated its official list of known issues with the game, and “revenge quests are nowhere to be found” is now “investigated”.

With luck, revenge missions will finally work as intended in the near future, adding a bit more spice to Eivor’s adventure. Do we dare to ask if you have ever encountered another player’s body? Satiate your thirst for revenge in the comments section below.
