It’s Saturday night and if NFL playoff football isn’t your thing, you’re probably looking for a movie to watch. This month, Amazon has a TON of new movies available for its Prime members to stream for free.
They’re getting the new year off to a good start with a ton of new offerings, and we’ve listed 56 of our favorites below.

Okay, let’s get to our list:
1. 28 DAYS LATER – This raw zombie masterpiece envisions a deserted London, and finds chilly horror in its emptiness.
2. CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER – Harrison Ford puts on an iconic appearance as Jack Ryan in this spy thriller.
3. ALMOST FAMOUS – Cameron Crowe’s ode to rock ‘n’ roll still draws heart appropriately.
4. DEAD POETS SOCIETY – This prep school tribute to the power of poetry features one of Robin Williams’ greatest acting performances of all time.
5. THE FIRM – Tom Cruise takes issue (and walks around a bit!) In this adaptation of John Grisham’s legal thriller, which holds up better than you might expect.
6. LAST OF THE MOHICANS – Daniel Day Lewis stars in this 90s blockbuster movie about a Native American tribe.
7. LOST IN TRANSLATION – In Sofia Coppola’s masterpiece, Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson star as two lost souls in Japan.
8. CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR – Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman are having a blast in this political drama written by Aaron Sorkin.
9. MASTER AND COMMANDER – I’m a sucker for a movie on the open seas. Forget the shanties for a minute and get in on the real thing.
10. ERIN BROCKOVICH – Julia Roberts stars as the legal aid that fought hard for those no one else would fight for.
11. THE TOWN – Ben Affleck directs this shoot-em-up heist movie set in Boston, which takes a scene-stealing twist of Jeremy Renner as his best friend.
12. LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS – Guy Ritchie’s breakthrough movie is an English gangster romp with an all-time great soundtrack.
13. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN – Ang Lee directs this film about forbidden love, starring Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall.
14. THE TRUMAN SHOW – Jim Carrey stars in this commentary on reality TV, but Ed Harris steals the show as the demented Christof.
15. MAJOR LEAGUE – One of the great sports comedies ever made, and a must-watch for any baseball fan. (Well, the ones who can handle a lot of swear words.)
16. BOURNE ULTIMATUM – Another perfect movie in the Bourne franchise, starring Matt Damon.
17. CHINATOWN – Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway star in this black masterpiece; one of the best movies ever made.
18. DONNIE BRASCO – Al Pacino and Johnny Depp face off in this gangster movie.
19. FRIENDS WITH CHILDREN – A loaded cast also gets laughter and poignant moments in this story about a group of friends struggling with adulthood.
20. THE LIGHTHOUSE – Directly one of the wildest movies I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know how to describe this. Brace yourself.
21. THE GOLDFINCH – This adaptation of the Donna Tartt novel has some beautiful set pieces.
22. THE FAREWELL – Awkwafina stars in this film about a family who travels home to say goodbye to a dying matriarch.
23. THE LOST CITY OF Z – Charlie Hunnam stars in this historic piece with plenty of adventure and incredible scenery.
24. SUSPIRIA – A modern update to one of the most disturbing horror movies ever made, this one just got a little tastier.
25. THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS – Wes Anderson’s best movie, with a loaded cast and just enough emotional foundation for his style.
26. THE REPORT – Adam Driver delivers a committed performance in this film about a government investigation into war crimes.

28. ONE CHILD NATION – A documentary tells a personal story of the unintended consequences of China’s one-child policy.
29. THE VAST OF NIGHT – This ultra-low budget science fiction movie has a pure style and an unexpectedly beautiful dialogue.
30. RAMBO: LAST BLOOD – This isn’t Shakespeare, but if you want to watch Sly Stallone blow things up, it’s in spades.
31. TROOP ZERO – Allison Janney stars in this charming little comedy about an eccentric Boy Scout group.
32. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL – Another perfect entry in one of the greatest action movie series ever made.
33. SUPER SIZE ME – This documentary fundamentally changed the way America consumed food.
34. MY SPY – A surprisingly charming and funny little action comedy, starring Dave Bautista.
35. GENERATION OF WEALTH – One of the most grotesque documentaries you have ever seen, about a country obsessed with wealth.
36. THE HUSTLE – This update to the Steve Martin classic DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS has Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway having a good time as con artists.
37. LOGAN LUCKY – A perfect heist movie, with Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig having so much fun that you feel like he would have done the movie for free.
38. LIGHT OF MY LIFE – A chilling post-apocalyptic movie starring Casey Affleck.
39. LATE NIGHT – A quirky comedy about a host who struggles late at night to regain her groove and connect with a millennial audience.
40. LAST FLAG FLIES – Three Vietnam veterans go on a trip to rest one of their sons.
41. KNIVES OUT – Perhaps my favorite whodunnit of the past decade, directed by Rian Johnson and again with Daniel Craig stealing every scene he’s in.
42. I’M NOT YOUR NEGRO – This documentary about James Baldwin largely shuns talking heads and lets the man tell his own story.
43. APOCALYPTO – Mel Gibson directs this action thriller about the last days of a dying empire.
44. MID90S – Jonah Hill directs this ode to growing up as a skater punk. The soundtrack is perfect and the performances find depth.
45. GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO – The Swedish version may not have the style of the David Fincher film adaptation, but it features a groundbreaking version of Noomi Rapace.
46. Clue – One of the funniest and most quotable movies ever made, starring Tim Curry in an iconic role.
47. CASINO ROYALE – The movie that relaunched the Bond franchise and made Daniel Craig a star.
48. MANCHESTER BY THE SEA – This movie will leave you in a pool of tears. It’s brilliant and heartbreaking and it will destroy you.
49. BRETAGNE RUNS A MARATHON – A charming little comedy about a young woman who can’t get her life in order until she starts running.
50. HOTEL ARTEMIS – This movie borrows quite a bit from the JOHN WICK universe, but that’s great to borrow!
51. ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ – Clint Eastwood grimaces through this classic getaway movie.
52. FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY – A surprisingly beautiful and funny look at the world of professional wrestling through the eyes of an English family.
52. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT – This series is not missing. They are all great.
53. 7500 – Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a pilot on a plane taken over by hijackers in this thriller.
54. THE BIG SICK – A perfect little romantic comedy set almost entirely in a hospital. Who knows?
55. HONEY BOY – Shia LaBeouf puts on an incredible performance as, more or less, his father, in this partly autobiographical film.
56. SIMPLE FAVOR – This hilarious thriller has a ridiculous plot, but director Paul Feig and stars Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick seem to understand how ridiculous it is and have a blast with it.
