Four new upgrades are coming Google Assistant will help you locate your phone, order pickup faster, and even discover new automated routines.

With so many people stuck at home laptops and desktops have once again become our primary devices, which means telephones get lost or misplaced a little more often. Thanks to a new upgrade, users with a Nest speaker or Smart Nest display can just say, “Hey Google, find my phone” for help finding their device. However, the command works for both iPhones and Android handsets iPhone owners will have to do this Sign Up first to get the special alerts and sounds sent by the Google Assistant.

And for for those who don’t feel like cooking, Google is also expanding support for Duplex on the Internet so you can check more easily from order pick up or delivery.

Now when you use the Google app on Android to order online, the Google Assistant automatically fills in your payment information at checkout using login credentials previously stored in Google Pay or Chrome’s Autofill section. At the very least, the Google Assistant should help you avoid spending an extra minute or two filling in your credit card information, which is the most annoying thing about ordering food, especially when you’re hungry.

Finally, for those who want to automate more things in their home, Google is now rolling out global support for routines for sunrise and sunsetso you can trigger actions more easily such as turning on your lights at night or setting your heating or A/C to start with in the morning.

If you need help figuring out more things to set up or automate, Google is adding a new section in the Google Home app for out-of-the-box routines showing popular or suggested actions that may work for your setup. And if you do come up with a new routine to install, there is even a handy feature for Android phones that can add a shortcut to your new routine to your phone’s home screen.

All in all, while these aren’t exactly groundbreaking updates to the Google Assistant, it’s nice to see Google’s AI help keep getting updates on a regular basis, especially when they can help some of the monotony everyday life.
