The 200 IQ Apex Legends trick allows Wraith to completely topple enemies on Olympus

It seems Respawn has no plans – for now – to rearrange the Apex Legends supply guns, with the Prowler, Kraber .50-cal sniper rifle and the Peacekeeper heading into Season 8 as Heirloom weapons.

Apex Legends has had a rotating selection of Heirloom weapons in the Battle Royale’s randomly-dropped care packs since mid-2019, when the L-STAR was added to the title’s super-rare ‘red’ arsenal.

The Devotion, Mastiff, and R-99 have all spent stints as rare stock drops in recent seasons, before Respawn settled for the current roster.

The current high-impact trio will also linger to kick off Season 8; early gameplay videos featuring Fuse and the flashy new 30-30 Repeater rifle have seemingly confirmed the Heirloom roster will remain unchanged.

A frame from Dazs’ gameplay guide shows all three Heirloom weapons in the training area.

All three current Heirloom weapons – the Peacekeeper shotgun, the Prowler submachine gun, and the Kraber .50-cal sniper – were spotted in multiple videos in the Apex Legends training area.

This seems to indicate that the developers of Apex Legends have no plans to exchange which red weapons can be collected from stock drops, at least early in Season 8. Given the new season, “Mayhem” kicks off on February 2. , it seems a bit late to change that in the live versions of the game.

However, it’s worth noting that Respawn hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

That said, Dexerto has spoken to several prominent Apex Legends data miners, all of whom believe that the newly released gameplay guides were filmed on the same builds that will ship live to players on February 2.

Also, no changes have been made to the Battle Royale’s code regarding supply drop guns, suggesting that nothing has been played prior to the Season 8 launch.

The Peacekeeper is ready for another season as a supply gun.

This decision means that the Peacekeeper will now spend the fourth consecutive season of stock declines. It was added to the Heirloom arsenal in May 2020.

The Prowler is stowed away in healthcare packs for a much shorter stint; the heavy submachine gun was hooked to the Apex Legends loot in the Season 7 launch patch, when the R-99 SMG was released back into play. The Kraber rifle has been in stock since Season 1.

Apex Legends Season 8 will officially launch on Tuesday, February 2.
