Terry Bogard has announced for The King of Fighters 15 as the final member of Team Fatal Fury

SNK continues their new tradition of announcing new King of Fighters 15 characters every week, with Yuri Sakazaki previously joining the ranks while wearing her longer hair again.

This week’s big reveal goes to none other than Terry Bogard herself who looks sharper than perhaps ever before, while also offering the most KOF15 gameplay to date with an expanded trailer.

The SNK poster boy was almost a shoe-in for a spot on the roster, so his arrival now comes as no big surprise to anyone, though his new look will hopefully get fans in their thumbs.

All of his special moves from KOF14 can be seen throughout gameplay with Power Wave, Burn Knuckle, Crack Shoot, Rising Tackle and Power Charge getting a fresh coat of paint, although one change seems obvious from the start with the EX version of the shoulder, causing a crease instead of a wall bounce.

While Power Geyser and Buster Wolf are clearly back as his Desperation Moves in the new game, Terry appears to have a new Climax Move that we assume will be called Buster Launcher, which appears to be based on his Power Charge that leads to an uppercut before it explodes.

As was the case with many previous titles, Terry also forms the third and final member of Team Fatal Fury along with his brother Andy and long-time friend Joe Higashi to keep the tradition alive.

As a result, there are now three full teams we know between Sacred Treasures becoming official and Hero leading the way into the future.

Terry is also so special that he gets a full extra minute of gameplay to show, allowing us to see more of how the combo structure and gameplay is going to work for KOF15. However, there is still a lot we don’t know about the game, such as what the HUD will look like, what systems we can play it on and, more importantly, when it will be released.
