Third division He has joined Tercera side Racing Murcia

F.worms Real Madrid and Hercules winger Royston Drenthe is back in Spain, as he put pen to paper for the Tercera Division side Racing Murcia.
The 33-year-old joined the leaders of Group 13B, with 20 points from nine games, and hopes to help the team advance to Segunda Division B after signing a deal through the end of the season.
“Real Madrid has been in my heart since I was little, and when you put their shirt on, you’re always a blank, ” Drenthe said.
Drenthe was able to make his debut against Cartagena B over the weekend, discussing the difficulties of the move.
“It was a little hard to come at first because my kids were sad, but I hope I can start and do good things,” he noted.
“I have been well received. I am calm and happy and we will see how I only get into the team when I start training.”
Drenthe was with Real Madrid between 2007 and 2012, spent the last two years on loan to Hercules, and also played for Everton, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Sparta Rotterdam in a long career.
“I have yet to talk to the coach, but I think I would be happiest in central midfield,” he said when asked how coach Antonio Pedreno will use him at his newest club.
