Tensions between Senator Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) and Andrew Cuomo (DN.Y.) government are reportedly mounting. According to an article in the New York Post on Sunday, the two have a ‘working relationship’ at best.
A Democrat insider reported that there was tremendous tension between Schumer and Cuomo over major coronavirus legislation in the spring.
Gov. Cuomo even threatened to sue the federal government after claiming that the stimulus laws, in which Schumer played a large part, did not do enough for New York.
“If Washington doesn’t provide New York State with our fair share of funding, we’re going to sue because I can’t represent the people of this state in good faith and know they’ll be harmed,” said the Democratic governor. . “And know that they are being treated unfairly.”
COVID showed us low water in America.
It exposed the ugliness that lies beneath.
Racism, inequalities and inequality.
In NYS, we will make sure that no New Yorker is left behind in the distribution of vaccines.

With Senator Schumer shifting his seats to the Senate majority leader, he can now work harder to appease the governor.
