A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in the death of a wealthy British restaurant owner, according to a new report.
Susan Addis, 69, was discovered with stab wounds at her Brighton home on Thursday, The Sun reported.
It is unclear how the attack took place. Friends said she lived alone, but knew the suspect.
“Because of the sounds of things, there has been some sort of disagreement in the house and Sue suffered some injuries,” an unknown friend told The Sun.
The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was charged with murder on Friday, according to The Sun.
Addis had two popular restaurants, Donatello and Pinocchio, which are popular with celebrities and athletes.
The Addis family advocated for privacy, adding that they were “in shock” about her murder.
