Ted Nugent tested positive for COVID-19 just months after he blamed the global health crisis as “not a real pandemic” and a “scam”.
The 72-year-old “Just What the Doctor Ordered” singer announced his diagnosis on Facebook Live on Monday.
“I’ve had flu symptoms for the past 10 days. I thought I was dying, ”said Nugent in the video.
The Detroit rocker described his symptoms as “body aches” and “a swollen head.”
‘My god, what a pain in the a-. I could literally barely get out of bed for the past few days, ”he said.
The entertainer then used racist language to talk about the virus, calling it the ‘Chinese s-t’.
He also added that he will not get the COVID-19 vaccine because “nobody knows what’s in it.”
Nugent previously shared a Christmas message calling the health threat a “scam pandemic” and calling people wearing masks “sheep.”
‘It’s not a real pandemic and that’s not a real vaccine, I’m sorry. I am not taking a vaccine. You will come to me with a needle and I will fear for my life, ”he said, Metro UK reported.
