Swift has re-recorded her music released from 2006 to 2014, after her entire Big Machine Label Group catalog was sold – reportedly without her permission or knowledge – to Scooter Braun in 2019.
The albums in Taylor’s seemingly hijacked music catalog are Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012) and the ever-popular 1989 (2014).

In July last year, Taylor hugely surprised her fans by releasing a full-length album, Folklore, without any notice, which became the soundtrack to many people’s quarantines.
Just six months later, Swift decided to do the whole ‘surprise’ release all over again by releasing Evermore, another full length record, on her unsuspecting fans.
‘This woman!’ started a tweet. folklore and the brother of always is on the way ?? she does with all her re-recordings ?? a long pond forever? ‘

Always more LIVE? Some fans were hoping that Swift would release a Long Pond Studio Sessions concert film for Evermore, as she did with her eighth studio album Folklore
Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions was a concert film, quarantined under strict COVID-19 protocols, in which Taylor first performed her favorite songs from Folklore.
She was joined by her fellow musicians and collaborators Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff and Justin Vernon, who were also part of Evermore’s creation.
Fan would no doubt be excited to see some of their favorite Evermore hits performed acoustically by Swift and her favorite musical crew.
Despite their big guesses, Swift fans will have to wait until Thursday morning for the big reveal.
