Taylor Swift EXCLUSIVE: Singer Holds Hand With Beau Joe Alwyn As Couple Enjoys London Walk

She’s had a sensational start to 2021, breaking records with her album Folklore and also celebrating the release of surprise record Evermore.

And Taylor Swift took some time away from writing on Monday, while enjoying a relaxing winter stroll with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, 29, and his mom Elizabeth in London.

The singer, 31, and her acting boyfriend looked just as loved as ever when they held hands and wore face masks to stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic on the walk.

Taylor dressed up warmly for the outing, wearing a long oversized black coat and a warm red hat and matching red gloves that complemented her colorful face mask.

The singer and Joe also coordinated, both wearing black rain boots and opting to keep things casual in jeans while heading out for some fresh air during the country lockdown.

Joe was also bundled up for the cold weather in a black quilted jacket and seemed to be holding a small white pack as he walked next to his love and mother.

The happy couple, who have been dating since 2017, got isolated during the pandemic and shared a few glimpses of their time in lockdown on Instagram and even wrote some music together.

Current UK lockdown rules allow people to train with one other person or with their household or support balloon.

Taylor recently gave up a rare insight into their relationship when she revealed that she bonded with Joe through their mutual love of sad songs.

The beloved couple collaborated on several songs on her new Evermore ‘album, and the star detailed their process, including their similar’ musical tastes’.

She said to Zane Lowe about the actor on Apple Music, “Joe and I really like sad songs. We’ve always had a connection with music …

‘We write the saddest [songs]. We just really like sad songs. What can I say? It was a surprise that we started writing together.

But in a way, it wasn’t because we’ve always had a connection with music and had the same musical tastes. He is always the person who shows me songs from artists and then they become my favorite songs. ‘

Joe was credited on the record as William Bowery and helped write ‘Champagne Problems’,’ Coney Island ‘and’ Evermore ‘on her latest release, having previously collaborated on’ Exile ‘and’ Betty ‘for its predecessor’ Folklore’. ‘.

When she opened up their process – and the song ‘Exile’ in particular – she added, ‘He’s always just playing instruments and he’s not doing it strategically …’ ‘I’m writing a song right now’. He always has.

But I think we would have taken the step of, ‘Hey, let’s see if there’s a number here. Let’s write a song together? ‘

The walk also comes after Taylor broke another record recently, as her album Folklore became her fifth best-selling album of the year in the United States, making her the first artist to achieve such a feat.

The star’s eighth studio album sold 1.276 million from its release in late July to the end of the year, making it the only album to sell at least a million copies, according to MRC Data.

She previously had the best-selling albums of the year with Lover (2019), Reputation (2017), 1989 (2014) and Fearless (2009).

Taylor beat Adele to the feat, who had the best-selling album of the year four times with her albums 25 (2016 and 2015) and 21 (2012 and 2011).

Folklore debuted atop the Billboard 200, and it spent eight weeks at No. 1, bringing her career to a total of 47 weeks, hitting Whitney Houston’s record at No. 1 for the most weeks in 1987 by a woman.

Taylor followed up Folklore’s surprise July release with another surprise album in Evermore, which she dropped last month. Evermore was the 10th best-selling album of the year, with 283,000 copies sold in less than three weeks since its release.

On Sunday, Evermore topped the Billboard 200 again for the week ending January 7 after moving 56,000 album units domestically. The album was in first place for a few weeks, dropping to second place when Playboi Carti hit number one with Whole Lotta Red.

To further spoil her fans, Taylor also released a deluxe version of the album this week, featuring two bonus tracks, Right Where You Left Me and It’s Time to Go.
