“Tatito” Hernández for a possible abortion project: “I see it difficult to approve”

House Speaker Rafael “Tatito” Hernández sees the possibility of passing a bill to regulate abortion in Puerto Rico difficult and assures that this discussion is “already over”.

“I see it very difficult. That problem was solved and the privacy of the woman must be respected. When the project comes it will be implemented, but I see it difficult to approve it,” said the newly released Chamber President in interview with WIAC radio station.

Hernández’s utterances arise after the Dignity Project spokesman, Joanne Rodríguez Veve, voted for the presidency of popular José Luis Dalmau in the Senate, indicating that he pledged to consider a project to regulate abortion.

In a publication on his Facebook page, Rodríguez Veve listed the reasons why he voted for the Senator of the Popular Democratic Party (PPD), including: “Make way for measures to regulate abortion and protect the lives of both children in the United States. womb as of expectant mothers ”.
