A 29-year-old suspect who allegedly live-streamed himself in an apartment with a gun and two women lying on the floor was arrested Saturday in Northern California after an eight-hour confrontation with police, including SWAT personnel.
Police in Vacaville, about 90 miles northeast of San Francisco, responded to the apartment complex before 1am after a woman who saw the live stream reported seeing the women motionless on the floor, FOX 40 reported in Sacramento.
After hours of unsuccessful negotiations with the suspect, who the police failed to identify, agents used “distraction devices and chemicals” in an attempt to lure him out of the apartment.
