Another cloud game launched on Nintendo Switch today. This time it’s IO Interactive’s Assassin 3. The Switch eShop application is free to download, so you can test the connection before actually purchasing the game.
Cloud gaming is clearly not yet at the point where the best way to play, but without this technology, games like this might not even be available (or necessarily playable) on Nintendo’s hybrid device. There are some other hurdles as well, such as the fact that games in the cloud are not yet available in every country, and certain games may not stick around forever.
