Surveillance System places 64 municipalities on the red level – Telemundo Puerto Rico

The report generated by the Surveillance System of coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Department of Health (DS) placed 64 municipalities with a high level of community transmission.

The 64 municipalities are: Aguadilla, Aguas Buenas, Aibonito, Arecibo, Arroyo, Barranquitas, Bayamón, Cabo Rojo, Caguas, Camuy, Canóvanas, Carolina, Cataño, Cayey, Ceiba, Ciales, Cidra, Comerío, Corozal, Culebra, Florida, Guayanilla , Guaynabo, Gurabo, Guánica, Hatillo, Hormigueros, Humacao, Isabela, Jayuya, Juana Díaz, Juncos, Lajas, Lares, Las Marías, Las Piedras, Loíza, Luquillo, Maricao, Maunabo, Mayagüez, Moca, Morovis, Naguabo, Naranjito, Orocovis, Patillas, Quebradillas, Rincón, Río Grande, Sabana Grande, Salinas, San Juan, San Lorenzo, San Sebastián, Santa Isabel, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Trujillo Alto, Utuado, Vega Alta, Vega Baja, Villalba and Yauco.

On the other hand, it was reported that 12 municipalities are at the Substantial Transmission level. These are: Adjuntas, Aguada, Añasco, Barceloneta, Dorado, Fajardo, Guayama, Manatí, Peñuelas, Ponce, San Germán and Yabucoa.

The report comes as the island faces a recovery of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
