It’s been about a year and a half since Stranger Things Season 3 hit Netflix, and fans have been waiting for more details on the new episodes. With Hopper apparently dead, the Russians devising a new plan and the Byers and Eleven Hawkins leaving, the last season left a lot of questions in the air. The wait seems over, as the season four release date has apparently been leaked.
The Twitter account Netflix Updates has shared what appears to be a screenshot of a Netflix overview page, showing when the new chapters will arrive.
According to this information, the season will start on August 21. It should be noted that it is not an official source of the company, which at this point has not confirmed or denied the date.

Season 4 production of Stranger Things resumed in mid-September 2020 after the hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. During the break, the screenwriters finished the script for the chapters.
Although the details of the plot are not known, several details have been revealed thanks to the photos of the shooting. Lucas will get a job at a Japanese-themed restaurant at Starcourt Mall, and it has already been confirmed that Sheriff Hopper survived his apparent death in Season 3 and is now incarcerated in a Russian prison camp. It has also been revealed that new characters will be coming.
Actors Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Robert Englund, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko and Tom Wlaschiha have joined the cast of the fiction.
