Stephen Curry is suffering from a tailbone bruise

Golden State Warriors observatory Stephen Curry suffered a tailbone concussion late in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s game in Houston and did not return.

The injury occurred during the last action of the quarter, after Curry missed an off-balance triple. The momentum took him off the floor and sent him backstage on the Rockets couch.

Curry appeared to stumble on the first level of the metal announcements and was unable to stop his fall as he fell on the second level of the stands.

He immediately grabbed his back in pain and remained on the floor for a few moments after initially trying to get up. He went straight to the Warriors’ locker room to be examined and was then disqualified for the rest of the game.

Curry finished the night 7 out of 18 from the field, but only 2 out of 11 from outside the arc in the Warriors’ 108-94 win over the Rockets.
