New Mexico has the highest percentage of the population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution and Administration Data Tracker.

The CDC’s data tracker gathers data from healthcare facilities and public health authorities. It is updated daily to report the total number of people in each state who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of April 1 at 6 a.m. EDT, a total of 56,089,614 Americans were fully vaccinated, or 16.9 percent of the country’s population.

Below are the states and Washington, DC, ranked by the percentage of their population that has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC.
