On the heels of a new report claiming that Xbox and Bethesda will be holding some sort of event next month, updated information on the possible release window for Starfield has now also emerged. While it’s uncertain whether these new details related to the highly anticipated RPG are legitimate, they just happen to match what we’ve heard about the game’s release in the past.
Over to ResetEra, a well-known leaker with the mentioned username “NateDrake” Starfield and the release plans Bethesda has for it. According to what this user has heard, Bethesda has been planning to release the game sometime in 2021 for some time now. However, based on the events of the past year, plans may have changed. “There was a strong hope and desire to have Starfield launch this year, “said the post.” Anyone can guess how big the impact of COVID has been on the title, but 2021 has been the target for release since a few months ago. “
Of course, with any leak of this type, it is always worth emphasizing that the details shown here can be very faulty. That said, and as previously mentioned, a 2021 release window for Starfield is actually something we’ve heard about in the past.
