Star Wars: Republic Commando appears to be on its way to switching

Republic Command

The 2005 LucasArts release Star Wars: Republic Commando seems on its way to the Nintendo Switch.

Well-known data miner @ NWPlayer123 has noticed a Nintendo server update seemingly confirming that Aspyr Media Republic is publishing Republic Commando on the Switch. Aspyr is the same team that made the switch Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars racer.

Stars Wars: Republic Commando is a first-person squad-based shooter that was originally exclusive to the Xbox and PC and gained a bit of cult status. This would clearly be the first time it has ever been released on a Nintendo platform.

If we get a more official update on this, we’ll let you know for sure. In the meantime, tell us in the comments if this would be a Star Wars game you’d like to play on Switch.
