Staples and Office Depot want to help you prove your Covid-19 vaccination

While some companies have been working on smartphone apps or other systems to create a digital vaccination certificate, the paper CDC card is now about the only proof you will get.
Therefore Staples and Office Depot want to help you keep your paper card in good condition. The two companies offer free lamination of completed Covid-19 vaccination cards.

A Staples spokesperson told CNN that the service is available in all Staples locations in the US and does not currently have an end date.

The Office Depot offering is available at both Office Depot and Office Max locations. You must bring a copy of a receipt with your vaccine card to receive the free lamination. The offer is valid until July 25th.

The CDC suggests taking a photo of your vaccination card as a backup if you need the information.

But laminated or not, remember not to post a photo of your card on social media. No one has to deal with identity theft right now.
