Southern Charm star Ashley Jacobs gets engaged to boyfriend Mike Appel on a snowy vacation in Park City
Ashley Jacobs is officially off the market, with the former Southern Charm star now engaged to boyfriend Mike Appel.
Jacobs, 35, who first appeared in the fifth season of Southern Charm as Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend, has been dating 40-year-old Appel since the summer of 2019.
Apple, who owns the Related Garments clothing company and Nnovate agency, proposed while on a snowy vacation in Park City, People said.

Apple asked the question while on a snowmobile in Park City, and Jacobs said yes.
“After a year and a half of dating, we can both agree that this adventure we’re on together has only just begun,” Jacobs said.
‘We are a great team and we cannot wait for what lies ahead! Brace yourself!’ Jacobs added.

Jacobs revealed that they met in the summer of 2019 at a rooftop party in Jacobs’ hometown, Santa Barbara.

‘I was taking a picture of the sunset on the ocean when Mike kindly interrupted and asked,’ Do you want me to take a picture of it with you in it? Jacobs said about their first meeting.
Then we started a conversation. Mike is from Los Angeles and he asked, “Are you ever coming to LA?” I thought to myself, “No,” but replied, “Not that often.” ‘
She added that she needed to remind herself that she was “ dating someone who lived in South Carolina before, so LA is nothing in terms of distance. ”

The pair dated for more than a year before breaking up in 2018, but not after appearing on Southern Charm and falling out with Kathryn Dennis, Ravenel’s ex and mother of his two children.
