A suddenly infamous SoulCycle instructor says, “My bad” … after calling herself an “educator” to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Stacey Griffith apologized Monday “from the bottom of my heart” after posting a photo of herself receiving the highly sought after vaccine. The 52-year-old later admitted that she was eligible because she presented herself on the vaccine submission forms as an “educator.”
On closer examination … she called the dark move a “terrible error of judgment.”

In her since deleted post … Griffith – who learned such a thing Oprah and Kelly Ripa – began her caption with: “VACCINE DAY! Step one of the Moderna magic !! One hour drive to STATEN ISLAND, worth every minute! It takes a village.”
Griffith even added, “Now I can teach @soulcycle with a little more confidence that everything will be fine.”
Of course, some real teachers are still struggling to get vaccinated in New York, where there is a shortage.

NY currently prioritizes those over 65 plus teachers, school staff, personal college instructors, daycare workers, first responders, public transportation workers, frontline workers, and those working / living in homeless group shelters.
Yes, fitness instructors? Even popular / famous? NOT on the list.
Even mayor of NYC Bill de Blasio seemed surprised when Griffith got the vaccine and said, “Doesn’t sound like someone who should have been vaccinated for me.”
