Ratchet & Clank the first free title
After giving Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection away for free last year as part of the Play At Home program to combat the coronavirus pandemic, Sony has confirmed that the initiative will return in the coming months. The biggest takeaway to date is that you can redeem a copy of Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 4 completely free from March 1, 2021 on PlayStation Store. This offer will remain valid until the end of the month, after which a new offer has already taken its place.
From March 25, 2021, another deal will give new subscribers expanded access to Funimation. “What we outlined today is just the beginning of what awaits Play At Home. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing more details about free games and entertainment offerings for our PlayStation community,” said Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation.
In these historic times, the PlayStation team wanted to thank the community by giving something back. These days we can all use something to look forward to and one more reason to keep safe and socially aloof, so we’re happy to have a free selection of great games and some entertainment offerings.
