That tree-cutting technology is satisfying to see
Funny, I was wondering when we would hear more about it Sons of the forest, the amusingly titled sequel to the still very popular mutant survival game The forest. Endnight Games has released a new trailer.
“Everything you see is recorded in real time from our latest build,” according to the studio.
Sons of the forest looks freaky in a disturbingly casual way. One minute you’re splitting logs and digging trenches, the next you’re wearing a creepy mask to match the locals and firing a taser at an anonymous mutant. This trailer is full of glimpses of the story and gameplay clips.
Interestingly, the footage ends in a “2021” window without knowing if that means an Early Access release The forest (I assume so) or a fully finished game. Regardless, I expect survival fans to swarm these creepy woods and Endnight will continue to support the sequel for years to come.
I had completely forgotten about it until now, but the multi-limbed woman appeared in the first trailer.
