Sonoma winery pays $ 10,000 to operate and live rent-free for a year

If you look forward to that glass of wine every night, it might be time to quit your day job.

Murphy-Goode Winery offers you the chance to partner with them in the beautiful Sonoma Wine Country for free for a year at a salary of $ 10,000 per month.

All you need to do is apply with a video explaining why you would be a good candidate to work at the California winery.

Located just outside of San Francisco in the Alexander Valley region, any wine-loving connoisseur in need of a lifestyle change can take this opportunity.

The Murphy-Goode website cleverly marketed the job posting as “a real Goode job” and explained the goal of hiring someone who wanted a path into the wine business.

“Looking for a change in your career and to pursue your passion? Do words like Cabernet, Rosé and Chardonnay just roll off your tongue? “asked the list.

Tell us why you want a really good job. Begin the first 90 days of your Really Goode Job shadow winemaker Dave Ready Jr. and explore all aspects of the harvest. From there, we work with you and your passions to help you choose your path in the wine industry. The sky is your limit! ”

The job is expected to start in September and the application deadline is June 30.

The company added that it would help the lucky candidate “develop strong working relationships between the winery functions” and “work with teams to raise awareness and build demand for Murphy-Goode Winery.”

It did something similar in 2009, with an initial focus on documenting the work on social media platforms.

Founded in 1985, Murphy-Goode decided to take the position back this year “as the country faces new challenges” amid the ongoing pandemic.

To apply, you must be allowed to drink legally, be a legal resident of the United States, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

But perhaps the greatest requirement of all? You must like wine.
