Sonia Valentín will lead production at Wapa | Stage

Sonia Valentín will assume production management at Wapa TV from March 15, and will be responsible for overseeing and meeting the needs of local programming, as well as administrative and content management support.

It was announced that as Production Director, she will be responsible for the coordination and production of special events. And it will be responsible for hiring talents and specialized personnel for the development of new projects, among other things.

Together with Valentin, Frank Dobek was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

“I started on the channel in 2007 and have seen the evolution. In this new role, it is my commitment to ensure that the resources we provide are of the highest quality and with the best technology for the benefit of our viewers and customers, ”said Dobek, with 25 years of experience in the television industry who the responsible for leading the Channel staff and technical team, including cameramen, lighting technicians, coordinators, editors and audio, among others.

We must not forget that Valentín is the founder of Producciones Copelar, a production house under which she created programs such as Entre Nosotras and Juntos en la Mañana, broadcast by Wapa. For the past three years he has participated in the program ¡Viva la noche! as presenter of the analysis and discussion segment Heat the Afternoon, which will culminate tomorrow, Thursday, to devote herself to her new duties. In addition, he pursued postgraduate studies with a concentration in film at the University of Maine, as well as acting at the HB Studio in New York.
