Outriders is an always-online game that you can play completely solo. Normally you cannot pause it even when you are alone. But a savvy PC player figured out a way to pause the game with their Nivida GPU.

Or wait for the servers to failBut if you have a Nivida GPU, there is a way to pause the game while playing solo. This method has been shared by the Reddit user Aced bread
It’s pretty easy: Outriders supports Nivida’s Ansel Featuresso you can pause the action and move the camera to get cool screenshots. So if you need to pause on the PC and you have the right GPU, hit Alt + F2 and boom, you’ve paused the game.

This only works when you play solo. If you have other players in your game, Ansel will still be activated, but the action will not stop.

This handy solution makes me wonder if a proper, legitimate pause feature can be implemented in the main game. That would give people on the console and those not using Nivida GPUs a chance to stop and take a bathroom break in the middle of a fight.
